We’re here for all who need a place to rest.
Come for the day or stay a little while in peaceful surroundings on Gower.
Matthew 11: 28: Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
As Wales comes out of its ‘firebreak’ lockdown on 9 November 2020, we wanted to be able to share Nicholaston House - God’s House on Gower - with those in need of a break at this time.
In view of the lockdown in England that came into effect on 5 November, we wanted to reach out to those in Wales who may especially be in need of a break at this time.
We know these times are hard and pressured - we want you to know we are here if you are in need of a place to retreat for a time of rest and recuperation.
In the coming weeks we have space for people to stay residentially or visit for the day.
Nicholaston House is a Christian Retreat House based on the beautiful Gower peninsula - located just west of Swansea City centre - with a stunning outlook over Oxwich Bay.
Dinner, bed and breakfast is available for those staying residentially, as well as a warming soup lunch for residents and day visiting guests.
Working within the covid-19 safe regulations and guidelines, space is limited and we welcome enquiries from those currently residing in Wales who would like to visit. We have short breaks for up to 4 nights, but we also welcome enquiries for stays of 2 or 3 nights.
Each day there will be an optional devotional time led by a member of our Christian community.
