Quiet Days and Special Events at Nicholaston House

Come and experience the peace and beauty of the delightful surroundings at Nicholaston House. Quiet Days are led and themed to enable individual reflection and prayer at times throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch; tea, coffee and afternoon cake will be provided. Special Events vary - please see below for details.


St David's Day Themed Evening Meal

Theme/Focus: St David's Day

Our dedicated catering team, under the direction of our head chef, Peter Hollands, will create for a limited number of guests a special 3-course St.David's Day themed evening meal. This special 'pop-up-restaurant' event is being held to raise funds to support our ministry at Nicholaston House.

Leek Soup: Cream of leek and potato soup, served with crispy leeks and a leek and cheese bread.


Welsh Lamb: Seared lamb rump, a lamb faggot, and a lamb and mint rissole, served with parsnip puree, a redcurrant jus and sugar snap peas.

Welsh Cheese: Glamorgan sausage and Welsh Rarebit with Harlech cheese, served with a sun-dried tomato sauce, baby leaves and sugar snap peas.


Welsh Tea: A Welsh Brew tea flavoured ice-cream with Welsh cake crumble, a Bara Brith crisp and strawberries in a sloe gin syrup.


A choice of tea or coffee served with a Penderyn Welsh whisky-infused mini Welsh cakes.
